Moondrop

This pendant was inspired by a sea under the moonlight. Eleven faceted gemstones with oceanic hues are carefully set into curving channel settings: six blue sapphires, blue kyanite, sky blue topaz, teal zircon, seafoam tourmaline, and deep green tourmaline. Set above several of these gems is a moon-shaped clear quartz cabochon. The cabochon makes the faceted stones look rippled and distorted, like you’re observing them from underwater. Curls and loops of .940 argentium silver wire twist around the piece and give it exquisite detail at every angle. It measures 4.5cm long with a 0.9cm bail, and 2.0cm at its widest point. It is accompanied by an oxidized and polished 2mm sterling silver wheat chain.
